As an avid fan of The Hunger Games series, I was excited to dive into the second installment - Catching Fire. With Tatiana Maslany bringing Katniss's voice to life in my mind, I found myself fully immersed in the world created by Suzanne Collins.

One aspect that had me laughing out loud was Finnick's flirtatious banter with Katniss. It added a much-needed lighter tone to an otherwise intense story. After finishing the book, I'm eager to watch the movie adaptation and then proceed to Mockingjay.

However, I did find myself missing some details about the other tributes in this installment compared to the first book. Additionally, I was disappointed that Suzanne Collins didn't delve deeper into the victory tour aspect of the story. The beginning felt a tad slow for my taste.

On the flip side, one thing that stood out as particularly intriguing was the Quarter Quell. While it was unfortunately brief, lasting only a couple of chapters, I would have loved to see more exploration of this pivotal event in the story.

As an 11-year-old reader, I was thrilled by how gripping Catching Fire proved to be. Despite being a relatively quick read, I found myself clinging to my pillow in suspense as I devoured chapter after chapter each day.
